Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications using a scanner or pick list.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate boxes or containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all safety protocols are followed.
- Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to a supervisor immediately.
- Assist with receiving and stocking of incoming goods when required.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, focusing on Safety and efficient logistics.
- Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Capable of moderate Lifting (up to 30-40 pounds) regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Understanding of basic warehouse Safety practices.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
