Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order lists or scanner data.
- Verify item quantities and product codes for order accuracy.
- Package items securely using appropriate materials to ensure safe transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch.
- Operate hand-held scanners to track inventory and update order status.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including packing stations and aisles.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Identify and report any damaged goods, inventory discrepancies, or potential safety hazards.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, such as receiving or stocking.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand order tickets and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive lifting for extended periods.
- Comfortable with lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to follow instructions and adhere to safety guidelines, including wearing PPE.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
