Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced warehouse operations as an Order Picker in Atlanta, Georgia! In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently picking customer orders using a handheld scanner or pick list. You'll navigate our warehouse, locate specified items, and ensure the correct quantity and product are selected. Maintaining a high level of accuracy is key to customer satisfaction. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to working safely within a dynamic logistics environment. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a high-performing team. You will work closely with other warehouse staff to ensure orders are picked, packed, and ready for shipment on time. Successful candidates will understand the importance of accuracy in order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
• Utilize handheld scanners or pick lists to identify and locate items.
• Verify product codes and quantities before picking.
• Transport picked items to the packing or shipping area.
• Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
• Report any discrepancies or issues with inventory or orders to your supervisor.
• Adhere to all Safety procedures and guidelines.
• Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
• Assist with inventory counts as needed.
• This role involves significant walking and potential Lifting of items up to 40 lbs.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse setting is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
• Basic math skills for quantity verification.
• Stamina to walk and stand for long periods.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with good communication skills.
