Job Summary:
Our busy San Francisco, California logistics hub is seeking a precise and efficient Order Picker. This role is critical to fulfilling customer orders accurately and promptly. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment. Your attention to detail and speed are essential to maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse. You will work with a variety of products, utilizing scanning equipment and following established procedures to ensure order accuracy. We are looking for individuals who are self-motivated, can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and are committed to upholding our high standards for safety and productivity. This position requires the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Strict adherence to all safety guidelines, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is expected. Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking customer orders using a pick list or scanner.
- Locating and retrieving items from warehouse shelves.
- Verifying product information to ensure order accuracy.
- Preparing picked items for packing and staging.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Properly using all required PPE.
- Reporting any stock discrepancies or equipment issues.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
- Commitment to safety and use of PPE.
- Good stamina for walking and standing throughout the shift.
