Order Picker

Job Summary:
Our state-of-the-art logistics hub in Houston, Texas, is seeking a skilled Order Picker to join our dedicated team. As an Order Picker, you will be instrumental in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. This role involves navigating our extensive warehouse, locating and retrieving specific items, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. This is a physically demanding position requiring consistent Lifting, standing, and walking. Your commitment to Safety, along with your ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, will be key to your success. We provide all necessary Safety training and PPE.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately select items from warehouse storage based on order specifications.
• Use of scanning equipment to track order fulfillment and inventory levels.
• Ensure correct items and quantities are picked to prevent errors.
• Move picked items to designated packing or staging areas within the warehouse.
• Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, following all Safety protocols.
• Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and forklifts, when required and certified.
• Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the use of required PPE.
• Support overall logistics operations and team goals.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Ability to perform continuous Lifting (up to 50 lbs) and other physical tasks.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices and procedures.
• Comfortable working with technology, including scanners and order management systems.
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced logistics environment.
• Must be willing to wear required PPE.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
