Responsibilities:
- Accurately picking items from warehouse shelves based on order details.
- Verifying product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Carefully packing items using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Applying shipping labels and preparing packages for dispatch.
- Conducting quality checks on picked and packed items.
- Maintaining a clean and organized packing station and work environment.
- Adhering to all warehouse safety regulations and utilizing required PPE.
- Reporting any discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Assisting with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking and cycle counting.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role within a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product labels accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
- Capacity to work in a fast-paced setting.
