Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from inventory locations according to order requirements using handheld scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy in product and quantity.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack items securely to prevent damage during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare orders for dispatch to carriers.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and box cutters.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all warehouse safety standards.
- Follow all safety procedures diligently, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock verification.
- Meet established productivity targets for picking and packing.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Awareness of safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
- Understanding of basic logistics and order fulfillment processes.
