Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff.
- Oversee inventory management, including receiving, storage, and dispatch.
- Ensure that all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time.
- Implement and enforce all safety procedures and protocols.
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to the team.
- Monitor workflow and productivity, identifying areas for improvement.
- Manage equipment and ensure its proper maintenance and use.
- Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals and updates.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and industry regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics .
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Ability to manage tasks involving lifting and physical labor when necessary.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and ensuring proper use of PPE .
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
