Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or scanner prompts.
- Verify product identification and quantities before placing them in designated containers.
- Package picked items securely for shipment.
- Operate picking equipment such as manual pallet jacks and order pickers (training provided).
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your assigned picking areas.
- Conduct regular checks of inventory locations for accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper lifting techniques.
- Wear all required PPE consistently while performing duties.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as directed.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily order fulfillment targets.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists or use handheld scanning devices.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including walking, standing for extended periods, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
- Basic math skills for counting and verification.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
