Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieving items from warehouse storage locations based on pick orders.
- Verifying product codes and quantities against order details.
- Ensuring picked items are in good condition.
- Transporting picked items to the designated packing or staging area.
- Maintaining a clean and organized picking area.
- Assisting with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Adhering strictly to all safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE.
- Achieving assigned productivity and accuracy targets.
- Communicating any picking errors or stock issues to supervisors.
- Working collaboratively with team members to streamline order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or order picking experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets accurately.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work at a fast pace while maintaining quality.
- Physical ability to perform standing, walking, bending, and lifting tasks up to 40 pounds.
- Willingness to follow all safety rules and wear required PPE.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and logistics.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
