Order Picker

Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced warehouse team in Dallas, Texas as an Order Picker! This role is fundamental to our operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently picked, packed, and prepared for shipment. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, retrieving them using RF scanners or pick lists, and transporting them to the designated packing stations. Your efficiency and accuracy directly impact customer satisfaction and the smooth flow of our logistics operations.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick customer orders based on pick lists or scanner data.
• Locate and retrieve products from warehouse shelves and storage areas.
• Transport picked items to packing stations for further processing.
• Ensure picked items match order specifications to minimize errors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if trained and certified).
• Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE .
• Participate in regular inventory checks as needed.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
• This position requires frequent walking, standing, and the ability to perform lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a warehouse or order picking role preferred.
• Ability to read and understand pick lists and order information.
• Proficiency with RF scanners is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting .
• Commitment to workplace safety and the correct use of PPE .
• Understanding of basic warehouse and logistics principles.
• Good communication skills.
• Must be reliable and punctual.
