Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse stock using order sheets or scanners.
- Verify item numbers and quantities against customer orders to ensure accuracy.
- Package picked items carefully and appropriately for shipment.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas for pickup by shipping carriers.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe workspace at all times.
- Operate manual equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Perform regular checks on inventory accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and demonstrate proper use of PPE.
- Report any damaged goods or safety hazards immediately to supervisors.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the logistics team.
- Perform tasks involving regular walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as required, including cycle counting and stock replenishment.
- Ensure all orders are processed in compliance with company standards.
- Foster a collaborative working relationship with colleagues and supervisors.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is highly desirable.
- Ability to read and understand product codes and order details.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift repeatedly, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Efficiency in picking and packing processes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
