Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order lists or using RF scanning devices.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack picked items securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected during transit.
- Stage orders in designated areas for shipping.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other lifting devices as needed.
- Conduct regular checks on inventory levels in picking areas.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Report any damaged products or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Contribute to the efficient flow of goods within the logistics operation.
- Perform duties that involve consistent walking, standing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned by management.
- Ensure compliance with company standards for order fulfillment.
- Work collaboratively with the shipping and receiving teams.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order sheets and product labels.
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift repeatedly, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety standards and the use of PPE.
- Efficiency and speed in picking and packing processes.
- Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
