Responsibilities:
- Receive picking lists or work orders from supervisors.
- Locate and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using scanning equipment or order sheets.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely for shipment, applying labels as needed.
- Stage picked orders in the designated shipping area.
- Assist with restocking shelves and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Operate pallet jacks and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety standards.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Understand and contribute to efficient logistics workflows.
- Be prepared for regular lifting and movement of products throughout the shift.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand picking lists and product labels.
- Proficiency in using RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity targets.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs consistently.
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions carefully.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
