We are recruiting for Picker/Packer positions at our distribution center in Omaha, Nebraska. As a Picker/Packer, you will be instrumental in accurately fulfilling customer orders by retrieving items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Use RF scanners to track picked items and verify order accuracy.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply appropriate shipping labels and prepare packages for shipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of your workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality goals for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock put-away tasks as needed.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors promptly.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment within the logistics department.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous experience in a picking, packing, or warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including regular Lifting of up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, production-driven environment.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with other team members.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to Safety and proper use of PPE.
