Order Picker

Job Summary:
Are you an energetic individual looking for an Order Picker position in Tampa, Florida? We are looking for motivated team members to join our expanding logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from our warehouse to fulfill customer orders. This involves navigating the warehouse efficiently, identifying the correct items, and preparing them for the next stage of the shipping process. Your accuracy and speed are critical to our success and customer satisfaction. This position requires physical activity and adherence to strict safety standards.
Responsibilities:

• Select and retrieve specified items from warehouse inventory using RF scanners or pick sheets.
• Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
• Ensure picked items are handled with care to prevent damage.
• Stage picked orders in designated areas for packing and shipping.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse Safety guidelines.
• Properly utilize all required PPE, including safety shoes and gloves.
• Assist with cycle counts and inventory verification as needed.
• Meet performance targets for picking accuracy and efficiency.
• Communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.
• Be prepared for consistent Lifting and movement throughout the workday.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced logistics setting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting order documents.
• Physical capability to perform Lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended shifts.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
