Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our operations in Orlando, Florida. In this role, you will be instrumental in fulfilling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include picking items from warehouse shelves based on order lists, carefully packing them for shipment, and preparing them for dispatch. A keen eye for detail, speed, and accuracy are essential. You will work closely with our logistics team to ensure timely order fulfillment and maintain high standards of quality. We emphasize Safety in all our operations and provide all required PPE. This position offers a great entry point into the logistics field, with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from inventory based on order sheets or scanning devices.
• Inspect picked items for damage or defects before packing.
• Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate packaging materials.
• Label packages with shipping information accurately.
• Prepare orders for shipment, staging them in the correct areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and surrounding area.
• Assist with inventory checks and stock replenishment.
• Follow all company Safety guidelines and wear provided PPE.
• Meet productivity and quality standards for picking and packing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in picking, packing, or a similar warehouse role is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Capability for moderate Lifting (up to 30 pounds).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to following Safety procedures and using PPE.
• Good communication skills.
