Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations according to order sheets or digital pick lists.
- Inspect picked items for damage and ensure correct quantities.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into boxes or other shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation accurately.
- Operate hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS) to track order progress.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and packing area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required PPE, including safety vests and gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as needed, such as stocking or cycle counts.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Ability to perform lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Familiarity with scanning devices and WMS is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations.
- Commitment to workplace safety.
- Must be reliable and able to work efficiently.
