Picker/Packer

Job Summary:
Join our fast-paced logistics operations as a Picker/Packer in Kansas City, Missouri. This position is fundamental to ensuring customer satisfaction by accurately and efficiently fulfilling orders. You will be responsible for selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment. We prioritize Safety and expect all team members to adhere to strict Safety guidelines and utilize proper PPE. Responsibilities:

• Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
• Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
• Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product integrity during shipping.
• Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
• Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
• Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
• Meet established productivity standards for picking and packing.
• Support the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution functions.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in a warehouse picking/packing role is beneficial.
• Ability to perform manual tasks and good dexterity for packing.
• Capability of Lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
• Basic reading and comprehension skills.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Experience with warehouse technology (scanners, WMS) is an advantage.
