Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack orders using appropriate materials to ensure product integrity during shipping.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including wearing required PPE.
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Meet established productivity standards for picking and packing.
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics and distribution functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to perform manual tasks and good dexterity for packing.
- Capability of Lifting items up to 40 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Basic reading and comprehension skills.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Experience with warehouse technology (scanners, WMS) is an advantage.
