Shipping & Receiving Associate

Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.
• Verify contents against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Pick, pack, and stage orders for outgoing shipments.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks to move materials.
• Accurately record shipment data into the inventory system.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shipping and receiving area.
• Strictly follow all safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations is preferred.
• Ability to perform tasks requiring physical strength and stamina, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Strong organizational skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Basic computer proficiency for data entry.
• Understanding of logistics and supply chain principles.
• Familiarity with shipping documentation and procedures.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
