Picker/Packer

Responsibilities:

• Receive and accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
• Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details before packing.
• Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers, ensuring product protection during transit.
• Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch, coordinating with the shipping department.
• Conduct quality checks on picked and packed items to ensure they meet company standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficient workflow.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
• Follow all warehouse Safety procedures and guidelines, including proper handling techniques.
• Participate in training sessions to improve picking and packing efficiency and accuracy.
• May involve some Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Previous experience as a picker, packer, or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet performance targets.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with RF scanning devices.
• Understanding of warehouse Safety practices and the importance of wearing PPE.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to work independently and collaboratively with team members.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Experience with Logistics operations is a plus.
