Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Use handheld scanners and order pick lists to guide selection.
- Verify product identification and quantity before proceeding.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workspace.
- Participate in inventory counts and help maintain stock accuracy.
- Follow all established safety procedures and guidelines, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet performance targets for picking speed and accuracy.
- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure efficient workflow.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or issues to supervision.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse capacity is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks requiring consistent movement and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to order accuracy.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced logistics setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Willingness to strictly follow safety protocols and wear required PPE.
