EXECUTIVE CHEF Full Time Boston, MA, US

Salary Range: $95,000.00 To $105,000.00 Annually

Avra Estiatorio, an iconic Greek & Mediterranean restaurant group known for its incredible fresh fish market, seasonal produce, and warm, professional service, is expanding to Boston in Spring 2026. We are seeking passionate, hands-on culinary leaders to join our opening team as Executive Chef.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen leadership, food quality, and cost control, while ensuring an exceptional dining experience. Fine dining restaurant experience is a MUST for this role.

Duties and Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):

Overseeallkitchenoperations,ensuringconsistency,quality,andexecutionofdishesatthehighestlevel.

Lead,train,andmanagetheculinaryteamtomaintaindiscipline,morale,andprofessionalism.

Developandmaintainseasonal,innovative,andcost-effectivemenusalignedwiththerestaurant’sconcept.

Monitorfoodcosts,inventory,andwastetoensureprofitabilityandsustainability.

Ensurecompliancewithhealth,sanitation,andsafetyregulationsatalltimes.

Workcloselywithfront-of-house,beverage,andeventsteamstocreateharmoniouspairingsandexperiences.

Overseevendorrelationships,sourcingthehighestqualityingredientsandnegotiatingpricingwhennecessary.

Continuouslyevaluatekitchenoperationsandworkflowforefficiencyandimprovement.

Maintain a strong presence on the line during service and act as a role model for culinary excellence.

Minimumof7yearsofculinaryleadershipexperience,withatleast3yearsasanExecutiveChefinafinedining setting.

Deepunderstandingofmodernandclassicculinarytechniques,ingredientsourcing,andplatingaesthetics.

Strongleadershipandcommunicationskillswithahands-on,team-orientedmanagementstyle.

Proventrackrecordofdevelopinghigh-performingkitchenteams.

Excellenttimemanagement,organization,andproblem-solvingabilities.

Abilitytoperformunderpressureinafast-paced,detail-drivenenvironment.

ServSafecertificationorequivalentrequired.

Culinary degree preferred but not required with relevant experience.
