Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary:
Are you a proven leader with extensive warehouse experience? We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor for our facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all logistics processes. You will be responsible for setting performance goals, training staff, enforcing company policies, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep commitment to workplace safety, including ensuring all team members utilize appropriate PPE and adhere to Lifting guidelines.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff.
• Develop and implement efficient warehouse procedures and workflows.
• Ensure the accurate and timely processing of all incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
• Maintain a safe working environment, enforcing all safety regulations and ensuring the proper use of PPE.
• Train and mentor warehouse associates, providing constructive feedback and performance evaluations.
• Optimize space utilization and maintain warehouse organization.
• Operate and maintain warehouse equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
• Monitor and manage team performance, addressing any issues promptly.
• Oversee proper Handling and storage of goods, including adherence to Lifting safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role (3+ years preferred).
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with warehouse management software (WMS).
• Demonstrated ability to enforce safety standards and promote a culture of safety.
• Proficiency in training staff on proper procedures, including safe Lifting techniques.
• Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
• Commitment to ensuring all team members use required PPE.
