Responsibilities:
- Read pick lists or use scanning devices to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders, ensuring correct quantities and product codes.
- Verify picked items for quality and accuracy.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand pick lists and product labels.
- Proficiency with handheld scanning devices is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical ability to perform tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Understanding of warehouse safety practices and the importance of PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
