Jerry.ai is looking for a
Director, Business Operations & Strategy (Marketplace Growth)
to help scale our core insurance business. In this high‑visibility role, you’ll report directly to our VP of Insurance Operations and own the systems, strategy and execution behind Jerry’s quoting engine, automation infrastructure and carrier performance.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategy to grow our insurance marketplace, scaling from 5M to 50M customers.
Own quoting engine, automation infrastructure and carrier performance to drive loss ratio, retention and conversion.
Collaborate cross‑functionally with product, engineering and analytics to create a seamless user experience and ensure ongoing carrier success.
Build and lead high‑performing teams, hiring and managing talent.
Preferred Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
7+ years of management consulting experience from a top firm (McKinsey, Bain, BCG).
Track record of hiring and managing high‑performing teams.
Who You Are:
You have a structured framework for problem solving and live by first principles.
You are comfortable communicating with audiences ranging from technical stakeholders to the C‑suite.
You set a very high bar for yourself and push that bar higher in pursuit of excellence.
