Mass General Brigham is a not‑for‑profit organization that supports patient care, research, teaching and community service. The Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Neurology is seeking a full‑time Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to assist with the operation of current and upcoming research studies.
Position Overview Primary responsibilities include implementing study protocols, administering neuropsychological tests to older adults with cognitive problems, maintaining accurate documentation, and assisting with other research tasks as needed. The CRC will assist with recruiting and scheduling, as well as all visit tasks, for participants recruited from the Memory Disorders Division, the Alzheimer’s Therapeutics Program, and the Massachusetts Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center.
Job Summary: Following established policies, procedures and study protocols, the CRC provides assistance on clinical research studies, including recruiting, evaluating, and consenting patients; collecting and organizing patient data; scheduling patients for study visits; performing clinical tests such as phlebotomy and EKGs; and maintaining and updating data generated by the study. Candidates who are completing their bachelor’s degree have a six‑month grace period from hire (up to one year if starting per diem) to provide degree equivalency verification.

Reviews proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines; verifies all sponsor requirements are met.
Recruits patients for clinical trials, conducts phone interviews.
Verifies the accuracy of study forms and updates them per protocol.
Prepares data for analysis and performs data entry.
Documents patient visits and procedures.
Assists with regulatory binders and QA/QC procedures.
Assists with interviewing study subjects.
Assists with study regulatory submissions.
Qualifications Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Science required.

Experience:
Some relevant research project work, 0–1 year preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Careful attention to detail and good organizational skills.
Ability to follow directions.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
