Job Description Team Member responsible for delivering pizzas within a designated delivery area, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries, and maintaining a high level of customer service. Duties include operating a delivery vehicle, navigating routes efficiently, assembling and stocking pizzas, and ensuring clean and safe store conditions.

Drive to multiple delivery locations per shift following company routes.

Deliver pizzas, flyers, and door hangers to customers’ doorways.

Operate company vehicles, ensuring they are properly maintained and insured.

Carry and load pizza boxes, beverages, and other items weighing up to 30‑50 pounds.

Use computers, telephones, and other tools to track orders and communicate with customers.

Perform routine maintenance such as changing prices on signs, washing walls, and minor repairs.

Physical Requirements

Standing : Most tasks performed in a standing position; walking surfaces include ceramic tile “bricks” with linoleum in food process areas. Work surfaces 36‑48” high.

Walking : For short distances; including travel between store and delivery vehicle and from vehicle to customers.

Sitting : Paperwork normally completed in an office at a desk or table.

Lifting : Bulk product deliveries twice weekly; unloaded by hand truck. Items up to 50 pounds and dimensions 3’x1.5’; cases lifted from floor and stacked onto shelves up to 72”.

Carrying : Large cans (3 lb 7 oz) carried to storage shelves; pizza sauce 30 lb; trays of dough 12 lb each.

Pushing : Move trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb.

Climbing : Infrequently navigate stairs or height; delivery may require five or more flights of stairs.

Stooping/Bending : Forward bending at pizza assembly station for 30‑45 s continuously; also at the front counter and stocking.

Crouching/Squatting : Occasional, to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching : Continuous reaching up, down, forward; above 72” to operate ovens; down to scoop cornmeal or wash dishes; forward for toppings and phone calls.

Driving : Deliver pizzas within designated area; multiple deliveries per shift.

Machines, Tools, Equipment, Work Aids : Use pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter and peel.

Requirements

Valid driver's license with safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery.
