🔧 Onsite Field Service Engineer

Were looking for a versatile Onsite Field Service Engineer who enjoys balancing in-person client support with remote service desk work. This hybrid role is perfect for someone who thrives in client-facing environments, enjoys networking and troubleshooting, and is comfortable traveling between client sites across South Florida (primarily Pompano Beach and Miami). Youll support managed services clients with onsite installations, networking tasks, deskside support, and remote ticket resolution while contributing to documentation and continuous improvement.

🛠 What Youll Do

Onsite & Field Support

  • Serve as the technical face of the company at client locations
  • Perform hands-on networking tasks
  • Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
  • Support device imaging, deployment, and user onboarding/offboarding
  • Maintain clean, professional workstation and cable setups

Service Desk & Remote Support

  • Provide Level 12 support both onsite and remotely
  • Resolve issues related to Microsoft 365, Outlook, OneDrive, printers, connectivity, and Remote Desktop
  • Manage tickets end-to-end: intake, updates, follow-ups, and warm escalations

Documentation & Systems

  • Create and maintain knowledge base articles
  • Keep client records up to date in PSA/CRM tools (Autotask, Salesforce, monday.com)

Growth & Development

  • Train alongside Engineering and Service Desk teams
  • Participate in certifications and professional development

🧠 What You Bring

  • 3+ years of IT service desk experience
  • 1+ year in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) environment
  • Strong customer service skills (phone and email)
  • Experience with service desk ticketing systems (Autotask preferred)
  • Solid knowledge of Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365 Admin, Office, Teams
  • Working knowledge of networking hardware (switches, firewalls, access points)
  • Familiarity with macOS support and troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multitasking skills
  • Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call rotation
  • Valid U.S. drivers license and ability to travel regularly within Florida
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods

Nice to Have

  • Bachelors degree or in progress
  • Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with Intune, Entra, and Google Workspace
  • Broad exposure to managed services tools and environments
