Position Summary The Corporate Partnerships Intern will be responsible for the day-to-day management, execution and activation of assigned partnership accounts and relationships. This position will provide exceptional client service, help clients generate powerful marketing activations, and assist the Corporate Partnership Marketing Service & Sales Team in creating synergistic activation and retention programs with our partners. This season-long internship is a part-time position based in Miami, Florida, starting September 22nd, 2025 through the conclusion of the Miami HEAT 2025-2026 Season.
Duties and Responsibilities
Assist the Partnership Marketing team in the activation and execution of assigned accounts, ensuring delivery on all sponsorship assets while providing exceptional customer service.
Help schedule and manage contractual game day and non-game day events (pre-game parties, suite reservations, and pre-game interactive display setup/breakdown), and off-site events.
Support the team in set up, suite walk throughs and all other operational needs required for a successful Miami HEAT game day execution.
Assist with corporate gifting and inventory management.
Help the team coordinate arena signage and installation with vendors.
Aid in administrative duties such as answering phones, attending weekly planning meetings, maintaining certain schedules and compiling proof of performance photos for partnership presentations.
Assist with onboarding a new sponsor (i.e., gifts, welcome packages, and touchpoints).
Support the overall sales process of the Miami HEAT Corporate Sales team, including assisting the Sales team on renewal and new business opportunities, creation of recap PowerPoints and sales pitch decks.
Help compile and gain insight from market research and online media, dispersing information to sales team and/or partners.
Provide excellent customer service, responsiveness, and professionalism to client requests.
Assist the team to accurately track, record and analyze monthly sales for each corporate order.
Help prepare and process all documentation related to client implementation and the creation of year-end partnership summaries.
Aid prospect and current partner research development.
Facilitate ongoing client engagement and opportunities.
Be available to work the full Miami HEAT home game schedule.
Other special projects and duties as assigned.

A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university, preferably in Sport Management or related field.
Client or Corporate Service experience: at least one (1) year of work experience or previous internship opportunity complete with client, agency and/or corporate service experience.
Excellent relationship building, inter-personal and communication skills.
Job Specific Skills And Abilities
Highly proactive, goal oriented and motivated with a positive attitude.
Attention to detail.
Must be proficient in computer software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, managing multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and clients at the same time.
Strong time management skills.
Must be able to commit to long hours of work when necessary to reach goals.
Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
Ability to lift heavy items (up to 40 pounds).
Fluency in Spanish is a plus.
