The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Radiologist to lead the clinical ultrasound program. Position Overview

Appointed by the Chair of the Department of Radiology/Chief-of-Service of the Imaging Program, this Director will partner with department leaders to establish Ohio State University’s clinical US program as one of the most outstanding among major academic medical centers. He/She will supervise operations across sub‑specialty radiology professional divisions, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and quality services. Duties & Responsibilities

Lead, direct, and monitor routine operations of the US program, ensuring efficient, compliant, and professional services for patients, referring physicians, faculty, staff, trainees, and the community. Provide advice and consultation to the Chair on clinical operational matters related to the US program. Collaborate with department leadership and imaging program technical leadership to develop clinical practice programs and strategies that maximize quality, volume, billing, collections, and revenue trends. Develop, implement, and modify clinical processes to meet national practice trends. Identify opportunities for quality and process improvements, safety and risk reduction, and program growth within OSU‑WMC. Implement strategies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness of US across the system, including safety, risk reduction, and technology assessment. Participate in institution‑wide initiatives to enhance patient services and ensure compliance with federal regulations and reimbursement systems. Lead education and training for technologists, trainees, and faculty in the US program. Requirements

M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree. Board eligible or board certified in Radiology (ABR, ABOR). Subspecialty fellowship in Abdominal & Pelvic Imaging. Eligibility for licensure in the State of Ohio.
