Our Client DAVIS Construction is hiring for a Superintendent. At

DAVIS , we are redefining the construction experience by building success for all. The

Superintendent

provides overall leadership for on-site field operations, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to DAVIS quality standards. This role partners closely with the Project Manager and project team while supervising field staff, subcontractors, and vendors.

Base Pay Range $105,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Key Responsibilities Safety

Enforce the DAVIS Safety Program in compliance with company policies and all local, state, and federal regulations

Implement and maintain site‑specific safety plans and orientations

Promptly address and resolve safety issues

Maintain required certifications (First Aid, CPR, OSHA)

Lead daily field operations, site logistics, and sequencing of work

Partner with the Project Manager to develop and maintain schedules, budgets, and work plans

Coordinate work in active or occupied facilities as required

Track progress, costs, materials, and schedule adherence

Participate in preconstruction planning, proposals, and project pursuits

Technical & Contract Management

Review contract documents, scopes of work, submittals, RFIs, and shop drawings

Coordinate layout, field engineering, and quality control activities

Manage subcontractor performance, change work, and cost control

Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and as‑built drawings

Support payment approvals and cost forecasting with the Project Management team

Quality & Compliance

Implement the DAVIS Quality Management System

Ensure subcontractor compliance with contract documents, quality standards, and schedules

Enforce sustainability and LEED requirements when applicable

Monitor inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities

Lead and participate in project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors

Communicate progress, risks, and issues clearly and proactively

Foster a collaborative, solutions‑oriented jobsite culture

Leadership & Development

Supervise, mentor, and develop field staff and trade partners

Support recruiting, retention, and performance management efforts

Promote DAVIS values, professionalism, and leadership presence on site

Required Qualifications

Minimum

4 years of supervisory construction experience

Strong field management and subcontractor coordination skills

Proven success managing construction projects from start‑up through closeout

Working knowledge of scheduling, cost control, safety, and quality standards

Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving abilities

Proficiency in MS Office and construction management software

OSHA 30‑hour, First Aid, and CPR certifications required

LEED experience preferred
