Capital Markets & Project Finance Manager Qcells North America invites applications for the Capital Markets & Project Finance Manager role.

Base Pay Range $125,000.00/yr - $160,000.00/yr

Description EnFin is a financial services company that provides financing for residential solar PV and energy efficiency upgrades, backed by PV panel manufacturer Qcells. Through its extensive dealer network, EnFin offers a variety of loans and third‑party owned (TPO) products that help make the purchase of an energy system more affordable. EnFin funds its business by selling and/or pledging residential solar receivables to complex funding vehicles funded by third‑party investors, including large asset managers, investment banks, and insurance companies.

EnFin seeks a talented individual interested in building a career in renewable energy finance to join the Capital Markets team. The Manager will assist in executing transactions with investors across the capital stack—including equity, debt, and tax equity—and will help in all aspects of capital raising—from early investor outreach to deal and project management and data management and cash flow modeling.

This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA; or Teaneck, NJ; with a potential in‑office schedule set at the direct manager’s discretion according to company policies.

Responsibilities

Raise capital to fund the growth of EnFin’s residential TPO business.

Assist in deal execution with JV, debt, and tax equity investors in accordance with company standards.

Review and revise legal documentation for investor‑related deals and other finance matters.

Develop and deliver presentation materials for investor calls and meetings.

Assist the Asset Management Team in preparing borrowing requests and executing tranche sales.

Foster productive relationships with external stakeholders including third‑party appraisers, insurance providers, and independent engineers.

Perform recurring and ad‑hoc analysis to support senior management and leadership of the Capital Markets team.

Articulate EnFin’s TPO business and strategy to third‑party investors.

Build and maintain complex project finance and tax equity models.

Monitor and maintain linkage between capital costs and market pricing.

Develop, teach, and guide junior team members, ensuring best practices and standard procedures.

Foster collaboration and mentor junior team members to support collective domain expertise.

Required Qualifications

Passion for renewable energy and rooftop solar adoption.

Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or related field with at least 8 years of experience, including 5 years in project finance or structured finance at a top‑tier developer, asset manager, or investment bank.

Relentless intellectual curiosity and unwavering attention to detail.

Experience with MS Office Suite and Excel (Pivot tables, functions, and VBA).

Ability to learn and apply new tools such as AI to enhance efficiency.

Unparalleled work ethic and ability to research, identify, and troubleshoot problems independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑paced, “start‑up” environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience building and maintaining complex project finance Excel models.

Basic understanding of consumer lending, credit underwriting, and renewable energy finance.

Experience with SQL, Python, or SAS.

5+ years of experience in consumer or renewable energy finance.
