Base pay range $46,503.00/yr - $73,002.00/yr
***This position is open only to City of New York employees serving in the permanent civil service title of Clerical Associate. ***
Responsibilities
Reviewing and processing leave requests, including FMLA, Paid Family Leave (PFL), Paid Parental Leave (PPL), Personal Leave, and Child Care Leave.
Ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Workers’ Compensation, and other applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Verifying leave eligibility based on City policies, employees start dates and leave entitlements.
Distributing required forms and sending leave-related correspondence.
Minimum Qualifications
A four‑year high school diploma or its educational equivalent approved by a State's department of education or a recognized accrediting organization and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at a minimum of 100 key strokes (20 words) per minute.
