Job Summary

The Construction Supervisor is responsible for acting as the front‑line safety professional coordinating and supervising jobs at the field while meeting safety and client standards. The supervisor conducts safety inspections, observations, claims, investigations, and regulatory compliance for OSHA, DOT, and EPA, supporting the field team across various departments. Responsibilities

Availability to participate with Project Manager and Client for a preliminary walk‑through of the construction drawings. Provide supervision and planning to ensure successful completion of projects. Excellent organizational and communication skills. MOT Coordination. Daily completion reporting using ArcGIS Collector App. Read and understand design schematics, maps, and create red‑lines or as‑builts. Ensure all assigned personnel received appropriate safety training. Inspect workplace facilities, tools, equipment, and machinery to identify and correct deficiencies or potential hazards, and ensure compliance with OSHA/DOT/Mus requirements. Maintain functional, calibrated, and protective equipment, methods, guard, and management systems to reduce the risk of employee injuries or illnesses. Assist local management in investigating work‑related incidents to determine cause and contributing factors. Develop mitigation measures and corrective actions for observations and inspection deficiencies to reduce risk of hazards from recurring. Recommend safe work processes and demonstrate personal protective equipment safety features that reduce employee exposure to workplace and environmental hazards. Provide weekly major materials utilization and inventory report. Maintain inventory of major materials release until installed. Ensure all restorations are complete as per jurisdiction requirements once construction is complete and schedule final inspections with city inspectors. Qualifications

Minimum

A high school diploma or equivalent. 3 years of construction project experience. Advanced experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Intermediate experience in schedule management. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple tasks. Good written and verbal communication skills. Precise hand‑eye coordination. Ability to judge distance and space relationships at 20 feet or more and 20 inches or less. Ability to identify and distinguish colors. Ability to read blueprints accurately. Ability to communicate progress, highlight issues, and provide recommendations to senior leadership. Safety training and knowledge of OSHA requirements. Preferred

A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field of study. 5 or more years of construction project experience. Previous supervisory experience. Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certifications. Fundamental knowledge of Primavera P6. OSHA 20 Certification. Physical Demands and Work Environment

This job operates in a field environment. The role routinely requires extended periods of bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting, awkward positioning, standing, and twisting, and working in inclement weather conditions such as extreme heat, extreme cold, rain, ice, snow, and wind. Must be able to bend and lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Precise hand‑eye coordination, vision clarity at 20 feet or more or 20 inches or less, and color distinction are required. Benefits
