Responsibilities
Build & manage the Asset Management Team
Define clear roles and responsibilities between Operations (PODS) and Asset Management (SMEs)
Maintain strong communication channels with counterparts across other brands
Identify gaps in subject matter expertise and implement solutions
Provide support and foster the development of SME capabilities
Drive Asset Management and Develop Standard Framework
Develop Asset Management framework in cooperation with other Maritime Operations teams
Set schedules to ensure team members allocate adequate timeframes to support and execute asset management
Work towards enhanced Amos standardization in collaboration with APS & MAST team
Establish a permanent focus on energy efficiency
Ensure all commissioned and future energy efficiency projects are maintained to intended standards
Drive ongoing engagement of shipboard and shoreside teams in energy efficiency initiatives
Implement periodic surveys or other monitoring methods to track the condition and performance of shipboard systems
Support PCL Fleet for Safety Systems
Work with applicable OEMs and vendors to accomplish the following:
Develop long‑term planning for safety assets
Lifecycle maintenance intervals
Identification of critical parts
Create schedules for annual maintenance for assigned systems
Create drydock work scopes
Support day‑to‑day operations (PODs) with troubleshooting and advice
Ensure follow‑up on annual safety equipment services with PODs
Liaise with Flag State authorities and classification societies to coordinate regulatory requirements
Support New Build: liaise with new build PM, POD Leads, Warranty Manager & CCS to provide subject matter expertise
Prepare and oversee project / CAPEX and applicable R&M budgets
Timely submission
Correct execution and progress reporting of projects
Manage contracts under responsibility and liaise with procurement for:
Wärtsilä PBL
Carrier Chiller Maintenance
Siemens HVAC control
Wärtsilä AWWTS Support
Ecospray AAQS support
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical, or related field
Preferred Certifications: Marine Engineering / Project Management
10+ years of seagoing experience in relevant technical roles
5+ years of shoreside experience in asset management or related roles
Leadership experience: 5+ years managing operational teams shore‑side
5+ years leading technical teams on board
Required seagoing shipboard experience with maintenance of fire safety systems
Preferred seagoing shipboard experience with engine systems, life‑saving appliances (LSA), and environmental systems
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to manage complex projects and make decisions with significant financial impact
Proficiency in technical and computer systems relevant to asset management
Hybrid schedule: 3 days in the office per week (Tuesday – Thursday); transition to new headquarters in the Miami, FL area in 2028
