Job Overview Client seeks experienced Applications Architects (Level 3) to design, develop, and implement enterprise‑grade cloud‑native solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Java EE, microservices, cloud platforms, and modern architectural principles, focused on scalability, security, and performance in a healthcare/Medicaid environment.
Level Description 8+ years of experience; relies on judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs complex tasks, may lead and direct work of others, wide creativity and latitude expected.
Job Description Application architects design, develop, and implement applications. They lead development from conception to completion and oversee all associated technical staff.
Key Qualifications
10+ years hands‑on Java EE development.
Design and evolve enterprise‑level applications meeting performance and scalability requirements.
Expertise in microservice architecture and distributed systems.
Practical experience with the 12‑Factor App methodology.
Domain‑Driven Design (DDD) proficiency.
Knowledge of design patterns in real‑world scenarios.
Strong experience with Java EE, Spring Boot, microservices frameworks.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Google) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
API design and integration (REST, GraphQL).
CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
Security best practices for cloud‑native applications.
Relational and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
Event‑driven architectures and messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ).
