You’ll combine exceptional coaching capabilities with dynamic presentation skills, transforming training sessions, data-informed motivational meetings, and precise feedback into powerful developmental experiences. What You Will Be Doing
Coaching and preparing Guides to deliver Alpha's workshops with exceptional quality
Developing Guide Playbooks that outline facilitation best practices, design of engaging learning experiences, and challenge resolution
Delivering consistent, practical feedback to Guides that enhances student participation and outcomes
Personally coaching a small student cohort, demonstrating advanced mentorship and motivational techniques
What You Won’t Be Doing
Designing lesson plans – Guides support students through adaptive applications; your priority is training them to become outstanding motivators
Compromising standards – when our benchmark is 100%, maintaining that expectation is your responsibility
Conducting uninspiring training – you'll develop Guides through dynamic, energized, experiential learning
Senior Learning Experience Manager Key Responsibilities Develop Guides and students so that every learner in your cohort enjoys school, progresses at 2× speed, and achieves mastery of life skills. No exceptions.
Basic Requirements
Currently located in or willing to relocate for on-site work at one of the Alpha Campuses (Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; or CA: East Bay (San Francisco), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, or Los Angeles)
Hold a Bachelor's degree in any field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or related discipline.
Proven track record developing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training solutions.
Strong leadership and coaching abilities with demonstrated success building, managing, and inspiring high-performing teams.
Background working with youth (ages 5-18) in educational or developmental settings.
Skilled in data analysis and leveraging metrics to inform decisions and foster continuous improvement.
Authorized to work legally in the United States

Working with us This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $100 USD/hour, which equates to $200,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
