As we continue our rapid growth, we’re looking for an Account Executive who will take ownership of building out our LATAM presence and revenue. Partnering with our Sales team and Channel Partners, you’ll craft your own pipeline, and join forces with Sales Engineers to secure deals ranging from five to seven figures. Your comfort in leading pivotal deals, handling a diverse portfolio, and laying the groundwork for future teammates is crucial. You possess the ability to listen to and engage with engineers, our primary buyers, and to gracefully navigate technical dialogues and decision‑making. Your role requires a blend of best sales practices, in‑depth sales expertise, and an unyielding passion to close significant deals in record time.
What you’ll do:
Identify and nurture leads, turning them into high‑impact opportunities.
Build and strengthen relationships with buyers, understanding their specific needs and priorities to simplify and expedite the deal process.
Lead negotiations and intricate procurement activities at the forefront of deal closure.
Maintain consistent and meticulous updates to our CRM with vital customer information, forecasts, and pipeline data.
Craft and implement plans to meet revenue goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Engage with technical stakeholders to uncover opportunities for Port to enhance their engineering initiatives.
Collaborate closely with our sales engineers and executive team, establishing and nurturing connections across all tiers of major accounts.
Consistently champion the introduction of innovative features with our Engineering team, underscoring Port's evolving value proposition.
Work closely with the Channel team, driving deals through existing and new channel partners.
Assist in organizing events in strategic areas of LATAM.
Collaborate with leadership to navigate and scale the LATAM market, offering guidance on where to invest time and resources.
Who you’ll work with:
Sales Engineers, fellow Account Executives, and the dedicated SDR team.
Sales leads, VP of Sales, CEO, and CTO for sales forecasting meetings.
Cross‑functional partners in Marketing and Engineering.
A supportive family of Port’s innovative and collaborative team members.
What you bring:
5–8 years of sales experience, especially in developer tools, cloud infrastructure, databases, or business intelligence.
Fluency in Spanish.
Proven ability to achieve quotas, with a benchmark of $1M+ ARR annually.
Experience driving and closing business with both Mid‑Market and Enterprise companies.
Deep familiarity with selling software to the LATAM market, both direct and via channel partners.
A consistent drive in activity, robust pipeline development, and quota accomplishments.
A solutions‑oriented sales approach adept at navigating complex sales processes.
Excellent presentation and listening skills, coupled with strong organizational and contact management proficiency.
Proactiveness in understanding technical nuances and confidence in steering technical conversations at all tiers.
Fluency in Portuguese is a plus.
