Counsel clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer planning. Draft wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related instruments. Advise on asset titling and coordinated planning across various accounts. Manage probate and trust administrations, including court filings and asset management. Advise fiduciaries on duties and risk management. Support business-succession planning in collaboration with other teams. Coordinate with clients' external advisors on tax compliance. Conduct legal research and maintain organized matter files. Requirements
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed to practice law in Illinois or eligible for timely admission. Minimum of 5 years of focused trusts-and-estates experience. Strong drafting skills and attention to detail. Working knowledge of federal transfer-tax principles and Illinois probate practice. Excellent organization, judgment, and client-service skills. Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Licensed to practice law in Illinois. Skills
