Wealth Advisor | Chicago (Hybrid)
A long-established, multi-generational private family office in downtown Chicago is seeking a Wealth Advisor to support senior leadership in delivering integrated wealth, tax, and planning solutions for an ultra-high-net-worth family.
This role is a strong fit for
Tax Seniors in public accounting
who enjoy complex planning work and client problem-solving, but want deeper exposure to the full financial picture beyond compliance and busy season cycles. You will work closely with senior advisors on investment oversight, trust and estate planning coordination, and day-to-day servicing of sophisticated family relationships.
The position offers hands-on exposure to advanced tax planning strategies, complex entity structures, estate planning, and family governance in a collaborative, intellectually rigorous environment. Based in Chicago with a flexible hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities Coordinate tax planning and compliance with external tax professionals Prepare and track charitable and personal gifts of stock and cash Support wealth planningmodel cash flow, estate, and tax planning scenarios Summarize and analyze trust and entity agreements Liaise with internal teams and external advisors (banks, investment managers, attorneys, accountants) Handle transactions, account openings, and related client documentation Research and resolve client issues involving taxes, banking, insurance, and household matters
Qualifications and Experience Minimum 3 years of experience in public accounting, wealth management, or a tax-focused role at a CPA or law firm Tax Seniors strongly encouraged to apply. Training provided on investments, trusts, and wealth planning Strong interpersonal and analytical skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, eMoney, and client relationship management tools a plus
