Lead Electrical Engineering. Shape What Gets Built Next. At some point in an engineering career, the question shifts.

It’s no longer “Can I design this?” It becomes “Can I elevate the work, the team, and the outcomes?”

If you’re a senior Electrical Engineer who enjoys solving complex building challenges and mentoring others, this role offers the chance to do both — at a firm where your experience will genuinely influence how projects are designed, delivered, and evolved.

Why This Role Is Different This is not a “hands-off” management position — and it’s not a heads-down production role either.

You’ll sit at the intersection of technical leadership, project impact, and people development, guiding electrical system design across commercial and light industrial projects while helping shape the future of the electrical discipline within the firm.

Your expertise will matter here. Your judgment will be trusted. And your voice will help set standards that others follow.

What You’ll Be Doing (In Plain Language)

Leading the electrical vision across multiple building projects — ensuring designs are thoughtful, coordinated, and buildable

Serving as the senior technical authority for power distribution, lighting, communications, fire detection, controls, and utility coordination

Reviewing and stamping electrical documents with confidence and care

Working closely with mechanical, plumbing, fire protection, and project management teams to deliver fully integrated systems

Mentoring engineers and designers — sharing knowledge, raising the bar, and helping others grow

Helping guide department direction, workload planning, and long-term capability development

Staying curious about emerging technologies, sustainability strategies, and smarter ways to design buildings

The Kind of Engineer Who Thrives Here You’ve likely been doing this work for a long time — and you’re still energized by it.

You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, but you also care deeply about how the work gets done and who is doing it alongside you.

You might be:

A senior engineer ready to step into a broader leadership role

A current department lead looking for a more balanced, people-centered environment

Someone who values high standards, collaboration, and thoughtful design over chaos and ego

Experience That Sets You Up for Success

20+ years of electrical engineering experience in commercial and/or light industrial environments

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license strongly preferred)

Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and modern design workflows

Comfort leading teams, reviewing work, and guiding projects from concept through construction

Familiarity with NEC 2020, local codes, and industry best practices

What You’ll Find Here

Hybrid flexibility that respects both focus time and collaboration

A stable, people-first culture where leadership is accessible and decisions are thoughtful

Interesting, technically engaging projects that reward experience and insight

Competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, including strong support for professional development

A workplace that values excellence and enjoyment — where people genuinely like working together
