Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Group Sales Manager at the Omni Atlanta Hotel at Centennial Park, located in Atlanta, GA. The Group Sales Manager will be responsible for driving group sales efforts by identifying, developing, and maintaining client relationships within the assigned market segment. Day‑to‑day tasks include targeted prospecting, client presentations, preparing proposals, and negotiating contracts to maximize revenue and occupancy. Collaboration with other departments to ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction is also an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to achieve or exceed revenue targets
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to effectively build and maintain client relationships
Proficiency in strategic planning, prospecting, and identifying new business opportunities
Organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Experience in the hospitality or hotel industry is highly preferred
Familiarity with CRM systems and sales reporting tools is beneficial
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, or a related field is desired
Ability to work on‑site and adapt to a dynamic, fast‑paced environment
