Tax Manager – Seattle, WA (Hybrid/On‑Site Options Available)
A reputable and growing public accounting firm in Seattle is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to join their leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to oversee client engagements, mentor junior staff, and guide complex tax work for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
Base Pay Range $120,000.00 − $150,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities
Lead and review complex tax engagements for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts.
Manage client relationships, ensuring responsive communication and high‑quality service.
Oversee and mentor staff, providing technical guidance, training, and performance feedback.
Research complex tax issues and prepare clear recommendations and memoranda.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws while identifying planning opportunities.
Drive workflow management, including scheduling, budgeting, and meeting key deadlines.
Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives, process improvements, and client expansion.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA license required.
5+ years of progressive public accounting tax experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
Excellent communication, leadership, and client‑service skills.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Attributes
Experience working with closely held businesses, high‑net‑worth individuals, or multi‑state entities.
