Position Description Qcells is currently seeking an experienced executive to lead the TPO and loan products business lines at EnFin. The Sr Director, Financial Products & Strategy will be responsible for the growth & profitability of these financial products the Qcells dealer network. This is a role with massive strategic scope. You will be accountable for the profitability and unit economics of EnFin. You’ll also lead our entry into the new homes space and the development of our prepaid products – including a prepaid/loan combination. All new financial products and new markets will flow through your leadership. Key to success in this position is an equal passion for delivering new products and innovations as well as implementing processes at the highest level of quality, ensuring that our customers have a world-class experience and that trust is built with capital partners. The ideal candidate will be an independent and curious thinker who can make convincing, information-based arguments and will never stop learning about their customers' subject matter and areas of complexity. This role will be extremely cross-functional. The TPO team will work closely with EnFin on the POS financing platform, capital raising, and servicing, and will work equally with Axia on sales, portfolio management, and quality assurance for installed, leased systems. This position will be based out of one of our offices in Irvine, CA; San Francisco, CA; Santa Clara, CA or Teaneck, NJ with an in-office schedule that is set at the direct manager’s discretion in accordance with the company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

Pricing & Profitability

Lead our lease pricing group

liaison between capital markets and the business

Strategy / Product Creation

Create new financial products that allow us to compete on things other than price

Develop and launch our prepaid offer and prepaid + loan combination products

Creating new financing concepts and entering new sectors

New Market Entry

Leading new market entry, including pricing, licensing, contract development

New sector entry, such as channels and new homes

This role will involve managing a team.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in corporate strategy, operation, or corporate development role.

Previous experience with lease pricing and tax equity structures

Previous experience managing people

Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present and explain complex information clearly.

Experience and proficiency in creating high-quality presentations.

Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel

Ability to collaborate and work across multi-departments and business entities.

Able to structure and present complex business matters effectively.

Assertive, able to cope with pressure, a team player.

Strong, self-motivated team player.

Strong Microsoft Office Skills.

Willingness to travel, up to 20% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years in residential solar financing

Solar Industry experience (Renewable)
