Electronics Technician 2 – Night Shift (Friday – Sunday, 6 PM – 6:30 AM) M.C. Dean, Inc.

Responsibilities

Execute technical tasks in field operations: on‑site installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.

Conduct site surveys, configure hardware and software, test systems, and provide technical support.

Use project safety plans (JHA, AHA, PFW) and enforce M.C. Dean policies.

Interpret drawing packages for constructability and ensure accuracy.

Verify time‑sheet charges and perform activities within planned durations.

Track and inventory tools, perform daily inspections and inventory checks.

Participate in daily ORM meetings and safety compliance.

Create and execute PITCO plans, including testing for quality.

Install system raceways, cabling, racks, enclosures, panels, and grounding.

Terminate, test, and configure electronic devices, network, and IT equipment.

Rack and stack head‑end equipment, perform cable terminations per industry standards.

Communicate consistently with project teams and clients.

Provide constructive feedback as a collaborative teammate.

Plan and prioritize tasks effectively, embodying company vision and values.

Survey and document field conditions; recommend improvements.

Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

U.S. Citizenship; ACTIVE TOP SECRET clearance required.

HS diploma or GED + 720+ military electronics training hours.

4+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance across multiple systems.

Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.

Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.

Time‑management skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.

Valid driver’s license; use of company vehicle may be required.

Acceptable driving record per company policy.

Preferred Qualifications

Vendor certifications in IDS, ACS, CCTV systems (CCURE, Lenel, Identiv, Bosch, etc.).

Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician or Electrical Apprenticeship program.

At least 3 years focused on electronic security systems.

Strong MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.

Abilities & Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds regularly.

Load and unload equipment without assistance.

Work at heights up to 60 feet on ladders, scaffolds, and aerial lifts.

Routine walking, climbing, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, reaching overhead.

Good vision (correctable) and hearing; communicate in English.

Recognize and report potential problems.

Apply general rules to specific problems.

Combine information to draw conclusions.

Work in close detail (within a few feet).

Pay Range USD $30.00 – $44.15 /hr.

Employment Type Full‑time, Night Shift (Friday – Sunday, 6 PM – 6:30 AM).
