We are seeking an experienced
5G RAN Test Automation Engineer
to support advanced telecom testing initiatives within a customer lab environment. This role focuses on
automation-driven validation of RAN and telecom systems , working closely with development and QA teams to ensure product quality, stability, and scalability.
This is a
hands‑on, onsite role
supporting a leading telecom lab environment. Prior
AT&T experience
is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain
automated test cases and test suites
using
Robot Framework
Develop and enhance
test automation frameworks
to improve reliability and scalability
Execute automated tests, analyze results, identify defects, and generate detailed reports
Troubleshoot and debug issues within test scripts and systems under test
Integrate automated tests into
CI/CD pipelines
to support agile release cycles
Apply telecom domain knowledge (5G, LTE, IP networking) to create realistic test scenarios
Collaborate closely with
development, QA, and operations teams
Create and maintain documentation for test cases, frameworks, and processes
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with
Robot Framework
(keywords, libraries, test suites)
Proficient in
Python
for test development and utilities
Working knowledge of
Perl
for scripting and legacy system interaction
Solid understanding of
telecom technologies
(5G, LTE, IP networking)
Experience with
Linux/Unix
environments
Strong analytical, debugging, and problem‑solving skills
Comfortable working onsite in a customer lab environment
Preferred Qualifications
Prior
AT&T lab or project experience
Experience with CI/CD tools and automation pipelines
Exposure to
UE log analysis (4G/5G)
Additional scripting experience (Bash, Java, Go)
Background in performance, security, or reliability testing
