Are you an experienced Database Administrator ready to take on a high‑impact role? Trissential is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join our client’s DBA team in downtown Minneapolis. This role supports mission‑critical energy services across Distribution, Transmission, and Nuclear business areas.

Your Role & Responsibilities
Administer and maintain Oracle and SQL Server databases, ensuring optimal performance and business continuity.
Perform database backup, recovery, and performance tuning across multiple platforms.
Consult with IT and business teams to implement sound data‑management practices.
Drive adoption of standard tools and improve data integrity across the organization.
Provide technical expertise in data governance, architecture, and analytics.
Skills & Experience
8+ years of experience in database administration (Oracle and SQL Server).
Expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high‑availability solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with distributed computing, data visualization, and predictive modeling.
Familiarity with machine‑learning concepts and BI reporting solutions.
Bonus Points If You Have
Hands‑on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM and Data Guard.
SQL Server clustering and AlwaysOn Failover Cluster experience.
Proficiency in T‑SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and PowerShell.
Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL administration.
SSIS package development and database replication technologies.
Education & Certifications
Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Relevant certifications in Oracle or SQL Server administration are a plus.
