This role is for a Sr. Oracle Database Administrator, a full-time consultant position located on‑site in Downtown Minneapolis, MN. The contract lasts over 6 months, offering $53–$63 per hour. Administer and maintain Oracle and SQLServer databases, ensuring optimal performance and business continuity. Perform database backup, recovery, and performance tuning across multiple platforms. Consult with IT and business teams to implement sound data management practices. Drive adoption of standard tools and improve data integrity across the organization. Provide technical expertise in data governance, architecture, and analytics. Skills & Experience You Should Possess

8+ years of experience in database administration (Oracle and SQLServer). Expertise in backup/recovery, performance tuning, and high availability solutions. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience with distributed computing, data visualization, and predictive modeling. Familiarity with machine learning concepts and BI reporting solutions. Bonus Points If You Have

Hands‑on experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, and Data Guard. SQLServer clustering and AlwaysOn Failover Cluster experience. Proficiency in T‑SQL, PL/SQL, Shell scripting, and PowerShell. Experience with PostgreSQL and MySQL administration. SSIS package development and database replication technologies. Education & Certifications You Need

Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Science, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications in Oracle or SQLServer administration are a plus. What We Offer
