Essential Qualifications
7+ years of experience in construction estimating, particularly in exterior remodeling or roofing
Proficiency with estimating tools such as PlanSwift and Bluebeam
Strong understanding of construction materials, methods, and market pricing
Ability to interpret architectural drawings and technical specifications
Excellent communication, organizational, and time‑management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy in cost analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Experience estimating for multifamily, HOA, or commercial projects
Familiarity with building codes and permitting processes
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
Professional certifications such as CPE (Certified Professional Estimator)
Key Responsibilities
Analyze project documents to prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates
Perform quantity take‑offs and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals
Develop and submit proposals for RFPs, negotiated contracts, and hard bids
Collaborate with project managers, sales teams, and clients throughout the bid process
Improve estimating tools and mentor junior team members
